Climate

New Zealand has a temperate climate with highly changeable weather conditions, brought about by east moving anti-cyclones. The weather is generally fairly wet throughout the year, with temperatures being warmer on the North Island. New Zealand's high mountains are snow-covered all year round. The best time to travel to New Zealand is during summer, between November and April.
